A hidden gem

We stayed at Hotel Relais Bosquet for three nights at the end of October, 2008. Our room (#24) was very cozy and had a view of the street (but it was very quiet). Free internet in the room and the hotel lobby was a great plus. The area is superb - nice, clean, quiet, safe, close to rue Cler (with plenty of cafes etc.) and a nice short stroll to the Metro (Ecole Militaire). We didn’t buy the breakfast at the hotel but instead enjoyed excellent meals (at half the price) at nearby boulangeries and cafes (we especially liked Le Terasse right next to the Metro station on the corner of rue Bosquet and rue Motte-Picquet - very convenient before taking the train for sightseeing or shopping etc.). In the evenings, when returning to the hotel on rue Bosquet, we could enjoy a glimpse of the top of the lit up Eiffel Tower. The staff was very nice too. We have no complaints and will probably return again.
